CMA's Subcommittee on Physician Wellness and Professional Satisfaction convenes subject matter experts, including medical education accreditation organizations, component medical societies and other stakeholder groups to explore strategies and compile information, resources and tools to help physicians and physician organizations reduce the prevalence of burnout and offer resources and tools to medical students, physicians in training and physicians suffering from burnout.
The Subcommittee also identifies, reviews and recommends policy on all issues related to physician wellness, as well as reports back to the Council on Health Professions and Quality of Care.
