March 24, 2025
Immediately preceding the California Medical Association's (CMA) third annual HIT Summit (May 6-7, 2025, in San Diego) plan to join us for a special pre-conference workshop, "CalHHS Data Exchange Framework: The Role of the QHIOs." This session will be May 6 from 3-5 p.m.
Starting in January 2026, all physicians and medical groups, community health centers, health plans, and others will be required to be actively exchanging data under the CalHHS Data Exchange Framework (DxF). The nine Qualified Health Information Organizations (QHIOs) are central to this effort as the providers of safe and secure data exchange.
In this workshop, physicians and QHIOs will have a chance for an open conversation about how to work together to realize the promise of the DxF, and promote safe and secure data exchange for all! Join us for a frank discussion about how data exchange is changing health care delivery in the State of California.
