The California Medical Association (CMA) continuing medical education (CME) team is pleased to announce our quarterly training session for new CME staff and planners will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. We encourage anyone who has begun working within CME within the last six months to attend this course, including staff and committee members.

Purpose

This CME orientation aims to:

1. Demonstrate the value of accreditation in continuing medical education
2. Provide an overview of accreditation core criteria
3. Familiarize attendees with the Standards for Integrity and Independence
4. Introduce key policies governing CME
5. Share key resources and tools

Eligibility

This training is available to each individual within each CME program once per year at no cost.
