Congratulations to Justin Nast, M.D., this week’s winner of CMA's Trivia Tuesday challenge, successfully answering the week 4 trivia question: How much were CMA dues when the association was founded in 1856?
Answer: $5
When the Medical Society of the State of California had its first meeting in March 1856, dues were set at $5 per year. The dues remained relatively consistent until 1900, when they were raised to $10. Two of those $10 fees went to pay county dues.
Did you miss this week's Trivia Tuesday? No problem. Another Tuesday is right around the corner. Answer our question next week for another chance to win.
