Please share your feedback on Change Healthcare cyberattack: Deadline extended

April 02, 2024
Area(s) of Interest: Cyber Security

Since the Change Healthcare cyberattack in February and resulting system outages, the California Medical Association (CMA) and the American Medical Association (AMA) have urged federal and state regulators to support physician practices with financial assistance and require plans to offer administrative flexibilities so they can continue to provide patient care. To assess the current level of workflow disruptions and financial impact on practices, AMA is asking physician practices to take a five-minute survey.

Physicians are encouraged to complete the survey by April 3. The survey results will be used to inform ongoing advocacy efforts on this issue.
