Over the past year, as we celebrated the 60th anniversary of Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC)—the philanthropic arm of the California Medical Association— we focused on three themes: honoring our past, celebrating our present and inspiring the future. PHC works tirelessly for all Californians so that they can have access to high-quality, affordable health care. This work would not be possible without the continued support and investment of so many.

As part of our continued service, PHC is partnering with the Downtown Women’s Center, which is working to end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles. Through our partnership, PHC will be assembling 500 toiletry kits to assist those experiencing homelessness. Each of these kits cost roughly $10.
