In 2023, Covered California, California's health benefit exchange saw a slight decrease in statewide enrollment of approximately 2.1% from 2022. There are now approximately 1.74 million individuals enrolled in qualified health plans for Covered California. To help physician practices understand their participation status, which products are being offered and what changes to expect, the California Medical Association has published a new tip sheet, “Navigating Covered California: Preparing for changes in 2024.” The tip sheet is available free to members.
