The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) now offers you the ability to not only enter activity data, but also record learner credit data in the same system. Reporting learner credit data in PARS is highly encouraged but optional.
Have you wanted to use this tool for your physician learners but not sure where to start? ACCME has created a new step-by-step guide to help accredited providers in the continuing medical education (CME) credit reporting process.
Additionally, CME Passport is an all-in-one, free, centralized website that enables physicians and CME provider organizations to find, track and manage their CME. The database is used by all accredited CME organizations nationally.
- CME Passport displays current or future activities that accredited providers choose to include.
- Physicians can search by activity format, date, types of credit offered, topic, location, keyword, specialty and other details.
- Physicians can create a personalized account, enabling them to view their reported CME and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits and generate transcripts for their state medical licensing board, employer or credentialing body.
Data entry overview, key resources and how-to information can be found on the ACCME PARS resources and CME Passport Information for Providers.
