Join us on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 12 – 1 p.m. for the latest installment of our monthly Virtual Grand Rounds to learn from experts about the status of COVID-19 and monkeypox in California.
After a massive summer surge of COVID-19, with many Americans having had COVID-19 more than once, we are still grappling to understand the epidemiology, causes and manifestations of long COVID. After an update on the current status of COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases including monkeypox (MPX) from Erica Pan, M.D., MPH, we will hear from Donald Grandis, M.D., a UC San Francisco cardiologist who will discuss the cardiac manifestations of long COVID.
The 60-minute grand rounds webinars are free and open to all interested clinicians. Participants can receive 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Clinicians likely to encounter COVID-19 in their practice settings (e.g., front line physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants) are encouraged to join the monthly case-based presentations, which will include expert panel discussions and audience participation.
If you are unable to attend the live webinars, they are available for on-demand playback at covidroundsca.org.
