Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 in California, the California Medical Association's (CMA) Organized Medical Staff Section (OMSS) will hold its Annual Assembly and Education Conference virtually on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Please cancel any hotel accommodations or travel plans you may have made to attend HOD/OMSS Annual Assembly as soon as possible.

CMA staff and OMSS board members are currently working on the virtual meeting agenda (tentatively from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. with an optional post meeting presentation on the MICRA initiative) and will provide updates as soon as possible. If you have already registered for the 2021 OMSS Assembly, you do not need to do anything else. An access link to the virtual meeting will be sent to you in October.

This meeting and educational conference is open to all physicians concerned about the role of strong self-governing medical staffs in improving patient care and safety. All physicians, medical staff professionals, and interested parties are invited to attend.

Attendees will learn about topics of importance to the growth and development of medical staffs.
