CMA publishes November 2020 General Election Voter Guide

October 13, 2020

The November General Election is just around the corner. We hope that you will show up to the polls (or mail in your vote-by-mail ballot) and ensure the voices of physicians are heard loud and clear. Many counties recently changed their elections process under the “Voter’s Choice Act” and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage you to visit the California Medical Association (CMA) Civic Action Center to check your voter registration and see if these changes affect you.

Click here to view the CMA November 2020 General Election Physician Voter Guide, which includes CMA’s positions on November 2020 statewide ballot measures. CMA’s positions were decided by a vote of the CMA Board of Trustees, following notification to and comment from members of the CMA House of Delegates.

The voter guide also lists your CALPAC supported candidates in races where an incumbent is NOT seeking re-election. Please note that candidates listed were considered through a formal interview process at the county level. CALPAC — CMA's political action committee — did not authorize opposition to any incumbent legislators.
