During the COVID-19 pandemic, physician practices are confronting operational and business challenges as they continue to deliver high quality care to their patients. Medical practices will need to make difficult choices about whether to make significant changes that could include changing how they deliver care or even closing their practices.
The California Medical Association (CMA) has published a new financial toolkit—Financial Assistance for Medical Practices During the COVID-19 Pandemic—which provides an overview of financial assistance available to medical practices during and after this difficult time, so physicians have the information they need to make the right decisions for their businesses and families.
CMA is also hosting a free webinar on this topic on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at 12:15 p.m. The one-hour webinar—Financial Assistance Available to Practices: COVID-19 Emergency—is free to all interested parties as part of CMA’s COVID-19 support.
