A new ICD-10 emergency code (U07.1, 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease) has been established by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Click here for interim coding guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The California Medical Association has also set up a COVID-19 resource page, where you will find links to the latest news, research and developments on the COVID-19 outbreak for physicians and other health care providers.
