The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has opened the data submission period for Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) eligible clinicians who participated in the 2019 performance period of the Quality Payment Program (QPP). Data can be submitted and updated until 5:00 p.m. Pacific time on March 31, 2020. (The deadline for ACOs and group reporting via the CMS Web Interface is also March 31, 2020.)
If you are working with a third-party intermediary to submit data on your behalf, CMS encourages you to sign into the QPP website during the submission period and review the submission for accuracy. Data cannot be resubmitted after the submission period closes.
Clinicians who reported quality measures via Medicare Part B claims can also sign in to qpp.cms.gov for your preliminary feedback on Part B claims processed to date by your Medicare Administrative Contractor.
To learn more about how to submit data, please review the 2019 data submission FAQs, user guide and video resources available in the QPP Resource Library.
You can also get support for your small, underserved, or rural practice by visiting the Small, Underserved, and Rural Practices page on the Quality Payment Program website.
