DHCS now accepting 2019 meaningful use attestations

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is now accepting 2019 attestations for the Medi-Cal Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program. DHCS will be accepting 2019 attestations in the State Level Registry (SLR) through March 31, 2020.

Providers should be aware that beginning with the 2019 program year, DHCS requires that documentation supporting meaningful use attestations be uploaded into the SLR before the attestation can be reviewed and approved. This documentation should include a copy of the meaningful use dashboard report produced by the electronic health record or an equivalent data source. The documentation should also include a copy of the Security Risk Analysis or a signed letter describing the analysis.

Documentation for individual professionals in a group/clinic can be uploaded into the group/clinic SLR account, as long as separate meaningful use data is provided for each professional.
