The California Medical Association is hosting a webinar with California’s Medicare contractor, Noridian Healthcare Solutions on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 12:15 p.m. This webinar, “Medicare Changes: What physicians need to know about 2020 changes to audits and reimbursements and other updates,” will cover changes to the Medicare program for 2020 and offer tips to ensure practices are complying with Medicare requirements.

Presented by Noridian’s Contractor Medical Director for California, Arthur Lurvey, M.D., FACP, FACE, this webinar will provide an overview of Annual Wellness Visits and Chronic Care Management services, including how physicians can get paid for these services and be prepared for audits under the Targeted Probe and Educate Program. Changes to both the Local Coverage Determinations and National Coverage Determinations processes and the “Patients Over Paperwork” initiative will also be reviewed.
