Physicians encouraged to complete AMA Opioid Task Force surveys by May 8

April 19, 2019
Area(s) of Interest: Drug Prescribing/Dispensing Pain Medicine

As one of the organizations on the American Medical Association (AMA) Opioid Task Force, the California Medical Association (CMA) is asking physicians to complete two online surveys related to optimal pain care and treatment for substance use disorders. The surveys should take 10-15 minutes to complete, and will close on Wednesday, May 8.

CMA and AMA will use the information to better understand how to reduce and remove these barriers. After the surveys are closed, AMA and CMA will review the data to determine most appropriate next steps. This analysis will likely take several weeks, but we will report back on our findings as soon as the analysis is complete.

Thank you in advance for your support.
