The California Medical Association (CMA) Institute for Medical Quality's (IMQ) 2014 medical staff conference, "Practical Approaches to Medical Staff Challenges," will be held October 30 in Burlingame.
If you are a physician, hospital leader, medical staff director, credentialing specialist or a quality improvement professional you will want to attend this one day course that addresses the critical decisions facing your medical staff.
You will learn practical solutions from faculty experienced in addressing challenges such as credentialing and privileging aging physicians, physicians with no or low-volume of admissions or hospital-based procedures, or those who practice telemedicine. You also will learn approaches to credentialing allied health professionals, effective use of quality measures and the impact of current legal issues on medical staffs. An interactive panel presentation will explore legal factors, communication strategies and credentialing and privileging considerations for physician colleagues who are impaired or disruptive.
The program will be held on October 30, 2014, at the Embassy Suites SFO Waterfront Hotel in Burlingame.
Register by the October 1 early bird deadline and save up to $75. For more information or to register, click here. The program is approved for 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, as well as 6.75 Board of Registered Nurses Contact Hours.
