Physician Leadership
The Orange County Medical Association (OCMA) is hosting a women physicians' leadership conference on Friday, March 15 in Costa Mesa. The program includes presentations by Kelly Traver, M.D., an internist who recently served as the medical director at Google. She is also the is the founder of Healthiest You, a company that works with corporations, health care organizations, and the government to help individuals become more empowered and engaged in their health. She will speak on “Ways Women Lead: Giving Enough but Keeping Enough.”
Other speakers include Sharon Levine, M.D., president of the California Medical Board and Elizabeth McNeil, vice president of the CMA Center for Federal Government Relations. There will also be a panel discussion of women physicians leaders.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Promenade & Gardens (by Turnip Rose), 1570 Scenic Avenue, Costa Mesa, 92626. This event qualifies for 3 CME credits.
Cost is $50 for CMA/CAP members; $100 for CMA/CAP non-members is $100 and free for medical residents/students. Registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch and an autographed copy of Dr.Traver's book, The Healthiest You.
