Joint providership allows accredited organizations the ability to collaborate with nonaccredited organizations to plan and implement activities that meet the providers mission.

CMA conducts a limited number of joint provided CME activities offering AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Joint provided activities will be considered when the:

  • Organization is not an accredited CME provider
  • Organization is not an ACCME-defined ineligible company
  • CME activity is consistent with the CMA CME Mission
  • Organization agrees to follow CMA rules, including its processes and policies, participation of CMA staff or physicians in the planning and payment of a fee based on the complexity of the activity.

CMA CME is currently welcoming applications that meet our mission of providing education on public health and health equity issues. CMA does not participate in joint providership with organizations whose activities accept commercial support from ineligible companies, including in-kind support.

Our fees start at $5,000 with an additional $50 per credit hour above 3. There may be additional fees for especially complex activities or enduring materials. We can provide exact pricing once we receive your application.
